Aid for Moravia Climate change brings along calamities that cannot be prepared for. One of them was a devastating tornado, which occurred in the Břeclav and Hodonín regions in southern Moravia in June 2021. The tornado took lives, destroyed homes, but also trees, shrubs, and crops. In order to restore the inhabitants' front gardens, bike paths, and tree-lined avenues and bring back the game refuge, windbreaks, and meadows, long-term restoration of the region is needed. In Dedoles, we decided to contribute 500,000 CZK to the initiative of the Partnership Foundation Aid for Moravia, which aims to plant new trees in the surrounding villages and land and treat those, which survived the tornado, plant trees along the avenues, restore windbreaks, support new gardens, and recover game refuge in affected areas.
